Hello. My name is Parca Mortem. Who, where, why, and what am I is not of your concern. Let it suffice that I'm a Peruvian guy who lived in alternative movie city Austin, Texas, USA for a while and just moved to Lancaster, PA, and that after my regular site got canceled out of funding problems, I decided to start a whole new site, themed on bizarre films. Of course, I'm still figuring out how to organize it. Serious changes are to happen around here, however. I've barely been able to fit in a couple of reviews, and I plan to review WAY more than the films listed here. This is just the beginning. Heck, this site has barely started on June 09, 1999, at 1:19 am, and at another server, and several things have gotten in the way. But I have great plans for it, which may or may not include world domination.
So, what is a bizarre film? Well, it would be any film that is constantly surreal in a very warped direction, or one that does not make any linear sense until you assign it one, or one where the characters and events become twisted and quirky as the director decides to do wild shots to give it a strange look, or one where whatever the director was trying to do originally got lost and became one of the worst movies ever, or one where you are convinced that everyone involved consumed a heavy amount of acids or other substances and that to really get the film you must do the same, or all of the above. You get the idea. (Not surpisingly, many of the films listed were made in the late 60s through the 70s, or by people who got their careers started back then.)
Aside from the films listed below, I've given certain directors their own deserved spotlight. Visit their sections!

AN EXPLANATION OF THE RATINGS:
I do two ratings. One of them is the bizareness level. This measured in how many shots of tequila in 20 minutes does it take an average person to consider that everything in the film is rather normal, on a scale of 1 to 10 shots. The other one is a personal overall rating on the film, on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is awful, 10 is excellent, and 5 is mediocre (roughly).
