Liza Minnelli:
The Complete A&M Recordings [11/25]
We are pleased to present, for the first time ever, the CD debut of Liza Minnelli's entire catalog for A&M Records—restored and remastered for this new collection, in 24-bit digital splendor, directly from the original master tapes! Originally released from 1968 through 1972, these four albums represent a unique period in Liza's legacy, a time when she was already past the stage of being an unknown or new artist, but not quite the superstar she would become just as her association with A&M would end, and the avalanche of awards began in earnest (including an Oscar for her starring role in the movie 'Cabaret', and an Emmy for her TV special 'Liza With a “Z”'). In fact, you might think of this historic 2-CD set as “Liza BEFORE The 'Z”, or “PRE-'Z!” This exclusive Collector's Choice 2-CD set features an informative essay from Liza's official webmaster, author-historian Scott Schechter, inside a full-color booklet with rare photos, and includes the studio albums 'Liza Minnelli' (1968), 'Come Saturday Morning' (1969) and 'New Feelin'' (1970), along with her first in-person solo recording 'Live at the Olympia in Paris' (1972)—discs that have never appeared on CD in the U.S. (and only the first and last LPs were on briefly-issued overseas compact discs that fetch many hundreds of dollars online when they appear). Release Date: November 11th

Art Tatum:
Tatum Art: Art Tatum Live Performances 1934-1956 [Box]
With dexterity and imagination to scare the riffs out of any other musician in the room, Art Tatum remains one of the handful of most masterful jazz instrumentalists of all time. Prior to Storyville’s involvement, almost all of this stuff had never made it to CD (and a lot of it had never been issued in any form). Live performances, armed forces radio transcriptions, radio broadcasts, ultra-rare TV appearances, private parties, nightclub shows and Art’s home recordings are among the sources of these 212 tracks dating from 1934 to 1955. 10 CDs plus a bonus DVD!

Cheap Trick:
At Budokan (30th Anniversary Edition)
Their studio albums won attention, but the powerhouse 'At Budokan' knocked Cheap Trick over the top, reaching #4 on the pop-album charts (on which it stayed for over a year) and giving 'em the live hits 'I Want You to Want Me' and 'Ain't That a Shame'. This isn't just one of the best live albums ever, it's one of 'the' best rock albums, and this 30th-anniversary set brings you the whole concert on 2 CDs plus the audio counterpart to the DVD on a third (with bonus tracks). And the DVD?: the concert film itself, aired only once on Japanese TV and sought after by fans for decades, plus interviews and bonus performances! 3 CD / 1 DVD BOXED SET!

Led Zeppelin:
Definitive Collection [Box] *
It's been 40 years since the rock gods united Plant, Page, Bonham and Jones, and this set marks the occasion in grand style. Fans might feel a bit dazed and confused as they take all this in: every album, from 'Led Zeppelin' to 'Coda', on CDs with sleeves that replicate the original UK LP sleeves (with sweet touches like the interchangeable window illustrations of 'Physical Graffiti' and multiple cover sleeves for 'In Through the Out Door'). 12 CD BOXED SET!

Big Star:
Columbia: Live At Missouri University
Although Big Star had been defunct for nearly 20 years by 1993, when radio station KCOU (in Columbia, Missouri) asked singer/guitarist Alex Chilton if he'd be interested in performing a set as Big Star, he surprisingly accepted the invitation. On hand was original Big Star drummer Jody Stephens, while the Posies' Ken Stringfellow and Jon Auer filled in for departed members Chris Bell (who died in 1978) and Andy Hummel.
