All of our amulets and talismans are made of 100% fine pewter - lead and nickel free.
Why pewter?
Pewter, being an alloy of tin, is ranked the fourth most precious metal in the world surpassed
only by silver, platinum and gold. It is very easy to care for since it will never tarnish or
rust. Unlike most metals it has a very slow rate of oxidation. Over a long period of time it
will develop the cherished antique look. (Most of our pendants have been given an
antique finish).
