PST is the official timekeeping contractor for the 2008 Jr. World Cycling Championships, Capetown (RSA)

PST is proud to once again be the official timing contractor for the Jr. World Cycling Championships, held this year in Capetown, South Africa. The event runs from July 12-20 and features the best young cyclists in the world in both Road and Track disciplines. Check out the official website for more info. PST is now registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, CAGE number 4VB65
Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is the primary registrant database for the U.S. Federal Government. A web search on the CCR portal using a company's CCR "CAGE" number will allow a prospective customer to get details on registered suppliers and service providers. PST's CCR number is 4VB65. PST's Industry-Leading Warranty Policy
Phoenix Sports Technology is pleased to announce an expanded warranty policy for ALGE timing equipment:

Until now, Phoenix Sports Technology has always doubled to two full years the standard one year manufacturer's coverage. We are pleased to announce that for all purchases made since Sept. 1, 2007 we will offer an additional third year of coverage at no extra cost for all ALGE start gates and photocells .

Warranty returns must be sent prepaid in suitable packaging. Repairs or replacements are returned by the same service as we receive them unless a change is authorized.

PST Deploys Velodrome Management Systems (VMS) Worldwide

Phoenix Sports continues to deliver innovative solutions employing state-of-the-art technology and expertise to velodromes worldwide. In July '07, PST employed their Velodrome Management System to provide integrated timing, scoring, and results at the UCI-B Road & Track World Championships in Capetown, South Africa. This was followed up by the Jr Track & Road World Championships in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Results are always available at PST's sister site, Veloresults.com.

The software now fully complies with the new UCI Omnium track event.

PST's VMS continues to be the industry-leading product for integrated timing, results, television, and live-to-web solutions.

New Alge software Utilities
Alge has released a couple of very useful new sports timing software applications and utilities (best of all, both of them are free!) Time.NET is a general purpose timing application ideal for ski racing, triathlons, and many other sports. Requires Microsoft.NET 2.0. ExcelWriter is a very handy utility that allows you to write timing data directly to an Excel spreadsheet. To download these or other Alge applications, go to our Alge Software page.
