Connected Fiber is a coalition of fiber optic splicing companies whose structure allows scalability no matter the job size.
Connected Fiber provides state of the art fiber optic splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting services for customers in the telephone and CATV industry. We pride ourselves on Quality work, built on a foundation of knowledge, leadership, and support.
LAST PROJECT
Some of Connected Fibers most recent projects include all Time Warner Cable and Sudden Link projects in the central and eastern parts of N.C. We’ve also worked for Verizon on FTTH in Florida, Indiana, and North Myrtle Beach, SC as well as Verizon wireless cell sites in NC. Broadband over power lines for Cinergy in Ohio. (Some of our affiliates did the same for TXU in Texas.) Recently we have worked on DOT projects in GA and FL. with one of our minority owned affiliates. We have completed several home land security projects with Level 3 and Global Crossing.

Our emergency response is fast, timely, & professional. When an 18 wheeler caught on fire on 1-95 it happened to stop under a major backbone containing a large amount of high priority traffic from the Baltimore DC area going to Philly. The operator called Connected Fiber to make the repair. |

Recently in Raleigh a 24ct a 120ct(2 locations) and a 432ct were all cut in two parts of town approximately the same time. There were 696 Fibers total at 4 locations that were spliced back together. Six of our splicers were in their zone and from the time of the call to completion, the project took 6 ½ hours flat. |
