Attention High School Juniors! Washington Youth Tour 2009 Details Are Here!
Each summer Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative sponsors two high school juniors (rising seniors) to attend a week in Washington, D.C. This educational trip is an all expense paid six day trip to join over a thousand students from all over the United States.

Tree Lighting heralds the season
Christmas is a time of tradition. In Pickens, one long-standing tradition is the lighting of the Christmas tree in front of the co-op office. On Tuesday, November 25, the familiar landmark once again proudly proclaimed the beginning of the Christmas season.

Blue Ridge Fest sets new records
Employee charitable event raises $145,000! This year, Blue Ridge Fest proved to be a record-setting event. While attendance reached a new peak and classic cars filled all available spaces, the most important milestone was that of total money raised.
